We took a group of GMU students from Mark’s Eco-Art course and joined Crop Mob DC to volunteer at the Neighborhood Farm Initiative, a Washington DC community vegetable garden.

We read about The Children’s Eternal Rain Forest in a Judy Moody book. Then, we found out it was a real place! A mini-fundraiser soon followed… We didn’t make much, but we sent it! Maybe someday we’ll get there ourselves.
